| Research Note | Pictured are James & Susan Duff. James Knox Polk Duff was born November 1, 1845 and died October 6, 1905. He was the son of George and Jane (Archer) Duff. Susan Peralee (Wells) Duff was born March 21, 1849 and died January 13, 1877. She was the daughter of Andrew Jackson and Nancy (Lawson) Wells. James and Susan were married September 1, 1870. The Wells and Duff families lived in Capps Creek Township, Barry County, Missouri. The Wells can be found on the Federal Census reports from 1850-1880. The Duffs can be found on 1870 and 1880 Census. |
