Roy and Ottie did not have children before he passed away
On January 15, 1920 we find an item in the Cassville Democrat which reads: "Roy Burchett is recovering nicely from the measles and plans on being back to work in a few days."
Roy passed away 12 days later on January 27, 1920 (View his obituary)
Roy was buried in the Mt Pleasant near Butterfield, with this husband & wife headstone.
Ottie lived another 76 years and was buried next to her 2nd husband of 56 years, Charles Calvin Reed in the Maplewood Cemetery (Photos and family info of Ottie and Charles)

Earl Burchett & ? - Written in the margin of this is Earl Burchett, on the back is written "to mother".

The photo was in Ottie's possession but she is not the mother of any Burchett's

My father said that these next to photo's are probably of the Burchett's but names are not written on the back of them. The elderly lady in both looks like the same person. Burchett Family 1? - Written on the back is "Made August 1929" and "Ottie Reed"

Notice the second man from the left, back row looks quite a bit like the Earl Burchett above?

Burchett Family 2? - Written on the back is "I should of held my Kodak straight and had the roof straight"

Hankin House? - My father said that this home is on the highway going into Cassville, that it was owned by the Hankin family (Dora Burchett-Hankins), and that the Burchett's would get together here.
