Seligman News: Edward Bierley quietly passed away at his home in the north part of town Wednesday. He was a good boy and was well liked by many. He was about 35 years old and had for many years worked in the mines in the Joplin district until his health failed. The funeral services were held at the Union Church. All have a heartfelt sympathy for the deceased's aged father and his young wife. It is sad for all when any young man in the prime of life is taken off the arena of activity.
