A Peculiar Case:

An unusual case has developed in Taney County, where an electric power company, installed a dam and generating station to furnish electric current to several Southwest Missouri towns. When the dam was built, a lake was formed about it that spread out over a farm of Geo. Vanzandt. Farming land is said to be scarce in that section and a river bottom farm is even more valuable than in other parts of the state. Mr. Vanzandt asks the power company to pay home for changing his farm into a lake, the company declines to pay damages and the court will be called on to settle this case.
