Harold Kerns of the Lone Hill school district of near Clio is attending the state fair at Sedalia this week. He is Barry County's representative to the state fair school. The state fair school is held by the state fair association for the purpose of giving instruction pertaining to every industry that might be found on a Missouri farm. The state fair association pays all expenses at Sedalia. Every county in the state was given the opportunity to have a representative at the fair. Through the efforts of County Supt. Hankins Barry County has its representative at the fair and is hoped that next year the incentive to attend the state fair school will be far better than this years. All boys between the age of 12 and 15 years are eligible.

Horace Hutchinson, of near town, has been elected to a position as teacher in the State Training school at Boonville. Mr. Hutchinson was at Boonville last week and made all necessary arrangements for accepting the position. He will enter upon his duties Monday. The many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Hutchinson regret exceedingly to see them leave the community, but wish for them much success in their new home.
