Through the death of Wm. M. Harris, of Mangum, Ok., which occurred recently, a number of his Verona relatives will in all probability, fall heir to a large portion of his fortune, which is estimated at $100,000. Wm. M. Harris was a brother of Mrs. Geo. Wilks and Mrs. John F. Voeplel both of Verona and a deceased wife of W. R. Wilks whose children will receive their mother's share. Of them Mrs. H. E. McShane and Miss Bertha Wilks also reside in Verona, while other brothers and sisters resided in Kansas, Arkansas, Montana, and St. Louis, MO. Wm. Harris left his wife only, they having no children, and the estate will be divided among the families of each. It is probable that the division will be made with in a short time, as the wife of the deceased has signified her desire to be freed of the care of the big estate and that she intends to appropriate only a sufficient amount to main her comfortably the remainder of her life and turn the remainder over to the heirs. Verona Advocate.

W. A. Wilks of this city is a son of W. B. Wilks and will receive one-eight of his mother's share. Mr. Wilks states that he value of his uncle's estate is unknown, but it is estimated to be over $100,000.
