Charles Beck, fifteen year old son of Mr. and Mrs. John Beck, east of Cassville, died Wednesday of last week of pneumonia. Mr. and Mrs. Beck have five other children sick.

The Washburn Review stated that last week that Hugh Brixey, north of that place one mile, killed a wolf a few morning ago in his chicken yard. A number of wolves have been seen in the county during he past few months.

John A. Bowman who has been at the county farm for the past ten months died Monday night from epilepsy. He was found dead in his bed early Tuesday morning. Bowman had been in a bad condition or some time and his death was not unexpected. He had relatives living northwest of Cassville.

W. H. Cooper, east of Cassville died Friday morning of consumption after a lingering illness of many months. He was a painter and followed his trade about Cassville for a number of years. He was a skilled workman and a good citizen. He leaves a widow and four children. His body was buried at the Quaker Cemetery Saturday.

Josiah, son of Mr. and Mrs. Percy Johnson, died Thursday morning at 12:10, age fourteen months. His death was caused by membranous croup and spinal trouble.Monett Times.

Suburban News: The death of Charles, the son of J. C. Beck and wife, was as sad message to us after being sick only 8 days, his death being due to pneumonia. He died at 6 a. m. Thursday morning. Charley was a bright and intelligent boy and had many friends, the school mates of Mt. Sinai have lost a dear friend. The funeral services were conduced by Rev. J. W. Ennes at the Oak Ridge school house Saturday after noon at 2 p.m., after when the remains were laid to rest in the Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Suburban News: W. H. Cooper died at his home 5 1/2 miles northeast of Cassville, Friday morning at 4 o'clock after being sick a large portion of the time the last 3 or 4 years. Mr. Cooper was a painter by trade and this county loses a highly respected citizen. Mr. Cooper leaves a wife, and four children to mourn his death, two sons, James and Paul, and two daughters, Mrs. M. Perkins and a daughter in Kansas. All the children were present. The funeral services were conducted by Bro. Crocuh Sunday after which the remains were laid to rest in Quaker Cemetery. The family have our sympathy.

Washburn News: Mrs. Maria Watts died at her home Feb 5th of pneumonia, age about 79 years. She had been sick about two weeks and her friends thought she would soon recover but she grew weaker till the end came. She had been a resident of town for a number of years and will be missed by her friends and neighbors. Burial at Washburn Prairie Cemetery Tuesday afternoon.

Union Valley News: Died Jan 13, 1912, Owen G. Russell, age 33 years and 9 mos. Mr. Russell had throat trouble and was thought at one time to be improving when he took worse and his weakened condition cold not stand the suffering longer. Mr. Russell came hear [here] from Oklahoma about one year ago and had made many warm friends. The remains were shipped to Blue Mound, Kans. for interment.
