Mrs. Sarah Henson Dead: Mrs. Sarah Henson, wife of Sam L. Henson, died at her home Dec. 14. She suffered a stroke of paralysis, which secured four days before her death. from the first their was no hopes of her recovery. If she had lived until Christmas Eve, Dec 24, she would have been 70 years old. She leaves an aged husband and four children, Mrs. Angeline Stockton, Mrs. Mary Easeman and Lafayette Henson of Jenkins and Mrs. Arbelle Gillam of Wyoming and one brother, Wm. Perriman of Jenkins and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service was held Shiloh and the body laid to rest in King Cemetery.

In her departure the aged husband has lost a faithful wife and mother. The children were all present except Mrs. Gilliam.

Mrs. W. T. Black died at her home at Monett, Dec 12. The family had been in the west for some time until a few months ago when they returned to this county thinking that he change might cause Mrs. Black's hearth to improve. She leaves a husband and four children. W. T. Black is a cousin of W. O. Black of this city.

Walter Bostick of Alba, Jasper County, was badly hurt last week in a mine at Webb City. The injuries were about the face and neck, caused by a squib shot. He is a son of Wm. Bostick southwest of Cassville and a brother of Mrs. Tobe James and Mrs. J. B. Hopkins.

Troy Cornell, a popular young mail carrier on the one of the Seligman routes secured a license here recently to be married to Miss Daisy Skelton of near Seligman. These young people are from excellent families and have the congregations of their many friends.

C. L. Vandorn of Thomas Hollow west of Exeter was in Cassville Monday. He said that Mrs. Jane Davenport has returned from Clovis, New Mexico and will make her home with her daughter, Mrs. C. L. Vandorn. The Davenport family went to New Mexico two or three years ago. Mr. Davenport died there and shortage of corps have caused the family to suffer many reverses.
