Kings Prairie News: Miss Martha McKinney and Mr. Earl Goodnight were united in marriage Sunday afternoon about 4:30 o'clock at the Kings Prairie church house. Rev. Whittington officiating. Miss Myrtle McKinney acting as bridesmaid and Ed Henderson as best man. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. N. L. McKinney and is an elegant young lady. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Goodnight of Bethel and is a splendid young gentleman. Their many friends unite in wishing them a long and happy life together.

Gunter News: Harrison Crawford and Miss Gennie Bayless were married at the home of the bride's parents, Tuesday of last week. These are both well and favorably known young people and have a host of friends who ? ye scribe in wishing them success and happiness on life's journey.

Washburn News: Mrs. Jeff Berryhill retuned Sunday from a few days visit with her sister, Mrs. Newman at Marionville.

Mrs. Jonathan Eden northwest of Purdy died Saturday at Pierce City of typhoid fever. She had been taken to Pierce City for treatment. Her body was buried Sunday at the Goodnight cemetery north of Purdy. She leaves a husband and eight children, the oldest of which is fifteen years. She has a sister who has also been low with typhoid.
