In the case of Thos. M. Allen vs. Margaret C. Allen, action for divorce, the defendant claimed that she could not have a fair and impartial trial of said cause before Judge Johnson, on account of bias and prejudices of said judge against plaintiff has an undue influence over said judge, and for this reason defendant asked for a change of venue; the plaintiff having the right of selecting the district and county to which the case should go, named Stone County. The defendant alleges in answer plaintiff's infatuation for another woman, indignities offered, his coldness and indifference to her, an offer of $10,000 to leave and an attempt to have her sign some papers to property, etc. for which defendant asks for divorce from plaintiff.
