Ellis - Hubbard: At the residence of the bride's father, W. A. Hubbard, Madry, Aug. 1, 1896, Edward G. Ellis and Odda O. Hubbard, were married, by Rev. J. B. Fly. This was in some respect a strikingly peculiar wedding. All four of the grandparents of the bride were present. William Hubbard, age 77, Lucinda Hubbard 69; D. A. Wilson, 72, Amada A. Wilson, 70. These grandparents are all natives of the state of Tennessee. Their ages aggregate 288 years. The father of the groom was present and about twenty-five of the associates of the bride and groom. It was a very imposing and impressive wedding. There is promise of future usefulness and happiness for this couple.

W. T. Webb and family of Gravett, Ark., are visiting the former's brother, Steve Webb, living south of town. The two are twin brothers and in appearance, speech and action are so much alike that mistaking one for the other is not uncommon.
