MRS. JAMES WESTON

In life we are in the midst of death and seemingly large numbers of people never become alarmed over their future, until the awful event approaches, having spent their lives out of Christ, having a good time, they have been too busy to take up His burdens. Not so with the deceased as she had been a follower of the meek and lowly Nazarene for many years.

Mrs. Caldona Tennessee Burnett was born Feb. 19, 1863, near Seligman, and was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Burnett, old and respected citizens of this county during life. Seven children were born of this marriage, 3 sons and 4 daughters and she is survived by her husband, 3 sons and 2 daughters, one brother, Lige Burnett of Dewey, Okla., 5 half brothers and 3 half sisters. She died April 3, 1920, of general debility, age 47 years, 1 month, and 20 days.

Rev. Chas. Vansandt conducted funeral services at the Corinth Church, on the 9th, and the remains were interred int he cemetery near the church.

A large number of people were present to attest their respect and esteem for the deceased.
