Headline Attempted Suicide
Text A man named Ingram, living 2 miles south of Purdy, attempted suicide about 7 o'clock Wednesday morning by shooting himself with a 22 target, the bullet entering his mouth and ranging out through the left part of his head. The wound is a serious one and he is not expected to live.

Ingram is a man about 50 years of age and has been a citizen of this county for only a short time. He was formerly from Rocky Ford, Colo. He is said to be an energetic and prosperous farmer and appeared to be in sound mind prior to this shooting. Nothing can be learned as to the cause of the act.
