Text | The Oklahoma school house, on Shoal Creek, southeast of town, was destroyed by fire Thursday afternoon of last week. Besides the building being destroyed, a piano which was purchased last year, all the school equipment and furniture, some of the children's clothing and books were also consumed by flames. The fire apparently originated from a defective flue. Mrs. Darius Roller and Eupha Warren were the teachers of this two room school. |
