Headline FRANKS – PUTMAN
Text The wedding of Miss Christine Elinor Putman, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Killpatrick Putman, and Mr. Conrad Andrew Franks of Tulsa, the son of Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Robinson of Neosho, Mo., was celebrated last evening at 8 o’clock in the First Presbyterian church with Dr. Charles W. Kerr pastor of the church, reading the marriage service, which included the ring ceremony.

Palms and ferns together with dozens of roses were employed to decorate the auditorium and the altar, the latter for which was lighted by white cathedral candles. Following the ceremony a reception for only the bridal party, members of the families and close friends, were held in the Putman home at 1915 East Thirteenth Place, which was attractively decorated with garden flowers for the occasion. The refreshment table was centered with the wedding cake, wreathed with fluted satin ribbon and tiny rose buds. Flat crystal vases filled with lavender and pink flowers and silver candlesticks holding white tapers completed the table decorations.

Mr. and Mrs. Franks left later in the evening for a wedding trip to Kansas City and other points. They will return in about a week, and establish their home at 1512 South College Ave. -- Neosho Times
