Text | Sheriff Houston left Saturday night for Jefferson City with four men for the state penitentiary, two men having all been sentenced by Judge Henson at the regular November term of the circuit court. The four men are: John Roe and Joe Schlosser, four years, each for burglary and larceny; Fred L. Brady and M. E. Turner, five years each for shooting and attempting to hold up Charles Wagner in Monett. The sheriff was accompanied by James Trolinger. |
