No one filed for the offices of Representative, Coroner, Surveyor or Public Administrator on either ticket up to Wednesday noon, May 31, when the REPUBLICAN went to press. These vacancies will be filled by the county committees after the primary.

Thursday, June 1, is the last day for filling declarations as the law is generally interpreted but it is a question if a declaration filed on June 1 would not also be good. By counting that day there still remain 60 days to August 1.
