Headline Farmer Killed by Lighting
Text William Brayshaw, 33 years old, was killed by lighting late Wednesday evening while stacking wheat on his farm near Plew, just across the Jasper County line in Lawrence county. Two other men who were at work with him at the time were uninjured.

Mr. Brayshaw was not killed instantly by the shock, death occurring after he had conveyed to his home. He was conscious for a short time following the stroke. Mr. Brayshaw was unmarried and resided with his aged mother and a sister. The mother, three sisters, and two brothers survive. Mrs. A. White of South Main street, Carthage, is an aunt of the victim.
