Text Harold Arbuckle of Fairmount, W. Va., son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Arbuckle, south of Cassville, writes his parents, that when the message was sent across the continent on Sept 29th, without the aid of a wire, he, as a stenographer, took the message down and transcribe it for the use of the newspapers. The words spoken into a Bell Telephone at New York were by means of wireless telephony transmitted to Mare Island near San Francisco.
