| The Union Valley school closed Saturday, April 18. Otis Packwood has taught us two of the best schools we have ever had taught. The morning session was spent in class work and to show their appreciation of his work the patrons gathered at noon hour and spend a bountiful dinner. The afternoon consisted of a program given by the school. There was two 8th grade graduates. They were Hllary Lantz and Mabel Cole and are the first 8th grade graduates from this school. There were fifteen pupils that attended school every day. We can recommend Mr. Packwood to any district as being a good teacher. He was loved by all of his pupils and we wish him success where ever he may go. |
