| Text | James H. Birkes, formerly station agent at Heavener, Okla., and Miss Ethel Briscoe of Exeter, were married in Kansas City, Tuesday, September 9. Immediately after their marriage they departed for their home at Louisiana, Mo., where Mr. Birkes has accepted a position with the Chicago & Alton railroad company. Mrs. Birkes is a daughter of Mrs. John Briscoe of Exeter and is a charming young lady with a host of friends. |
