| Text | The case of State vs. Walter Fogg, under the charge of murder, will probably come up next week for trial. Walter Fogg is charged with killing Lee Hefley at Milwaukee [Barry County] 4 miles south of this city, last December 1906, with a pistol. The defendant claims justification. This killing was not caused by any former trouble between themselves, but troubles of relatives and the long toughed gossipers who delight in mischief making. By the way these mischief makers are being spotted in every neighborhood and their stock in trade is known. Beware of them - they carry double. |
