Text | Clovie Montgomery shot Clarence Polly in the calf of right leg, Saturday night, Feb 17, at a dance given at the residence of Mr. Nodines, a few miles northeast of Washburn. They had been fighting and were both cut with knives. Deputy Sheriff Webb arrested Montgomery Sunday who gave bond for his appearance before Squire Durham at Washburn. |
