Text | Leonard Dobbs who was in jail charged with entering L. B. Jones' residence at Monett, escaped from jail, Tuesday evening. He was outside of the cell, tore up planks from the floor and dropped down in the vacancy between the vault and the wall and walked out of town. He was heard of going south of Washburn. Sheriff Thomas is having a series of bad luck holding his prisoners. |
