Text | Mrs. Tom Carlin and little daughter were bitten by a mad dog Saturday, Sept 28. They at once went to Mr. Kearney's [Carney] on Flat Creek to apply the mad stone which he has. The stone would not adhere to the wound on the little girl; but in the case of Mrs. Carlin it adhered; ten consecutive times, in the first instance for a period of an hour and half. |
