| Research Note: Sammie Gilmore is not a relative,
but after my grandmother Haddock had passed away one of the family members
found his picture in my grandmother Haddock's belongings. No one knew who
or why the picture was there. I had seen the picture somewhere many years
ago and knew who Sammie Gilmore was. He was a JP of Roaring River Twp during
the later part of the 1800's.
