CORSICANA MILL BURNED - The Corsicana Mill, owned by M. E. Miller was burned last Sunday night and with the exception of the records everything was destroyed. The fire occurred about ten o’clock at night and the cause is unknown.

This is one of the oldest mills in the county and has supplied the adjacent territory with flour, meal and feed for a number of years.

An insurance of $5,000 partly covered the loss which is estimated at between $12,000 and $15,000.

Mr. Miller thinks it is unlikely that he will rebuild the mill but he is considering a deal with the town of Purdy in which he may agree to use the water power there for developing electricity to be used in Purdy.
