Research Note: Additionally, A.M. Wiley served under Capt. Moore in the Stone County Battalion, Missouri Home Guards; Company M, 8 Regiment, Missouri S. M. Cavalry; and Company H, 7 Regiment, Prov. Enrolled Missouri Militia. His rank is not listed on his pension file index card, pension file application no. 497375, certificate no. 619597. I searched the online Missouri death certificates for Almon M. Wiley and then just scanned the Wiley entries and related spellings, but could not find his death certificate. Perhaps it missed being indexed, or he didn't die in Barry Co., MO? The parents, birth and death entries come from Lee- Wiley public tree on Ancestry that includes his photograph and headstone with legible dates.
