| Ray Cemetery is near Pioneer, Barry County. It is at the edge of a farm. The stones can be read from the road. There are about 10 stones. About 6 years ago the
stones were set up by Bob and Betty Blodgett and a chain link fence was installed. It is perhaps 10 by 10 in size. It is sometimes called Stewart Ford. The farm was owned at one time by William
Franklin Stewart and his wife Amanda Magnolia. Their farm is shown on
Section 3 of this 1909 Plat map To find the cemetery you would take FR T south of Pioneer. The curved road going through the center of the Stewart property on that map is present day Farm Road T. The road on the north edge of the property is now FR 2070. The road on the south edge is now State Road 97. |
