In August of 2006 Jordan McNair took Jay Trace to Pace Cemetery and Jay photographed all the stones he found there.
Directions: You have to go south on Highway 39 to Viola. Go through Viola, and after the city limit sign, go approximately 3.7 miles to Old Pace Road. Turn Right onto it, and follow it a mile or so until the road veers right. On the left side is a chain link fence and a gate with a no trespassing sign on it.

From here you would need Jordan as a guide - 870-654-3454. He can get you in, and then you go about another 1/2 mile on a pasture road to a house. Pass on the left side of the house, and then you park and walk another few hundred feet or so.

Without a guide, it really is a needle in a haystack.
