Research Note: His wife was Tamissine Dale. - Cassville Democrat, Barry Co., MO, Saturday, August 8, 1903 - Purdy News: Charles C. Dale died at the home of his son, Wm., 2 miles west of Purdy, last week, age 85. He was the father of Mrs. Dr. Hawkins of Monett. The remains were laid to rest in the Maddy Cemetery. He was a good citizen. - 1850 Census, Charles and Tamissine were living in Fort Smith, Crawford, Arkansas. 1860 census, living in Clarksville, Red River, TX. 1870 and 1880 census, still in Clarksville, Red River, TX. 1900 census, 1900 living in Monett, Barry, Missouri. - Civil War Veteran. He applied for his Confederate Pension from Robertson Co., TX, age 83. He was "very feeble, loss of sight, with bronchial trouble". Online Obit

Research Note: Research Note: He is buried next to Florence and Lamberteen Draper. He was the son of Andrew J. and Eve (Montgomery) Draper. His wife was Florence E. Hamilton and they were married on Jan. 22, 1867 in Johnson Co., IN. Their children were, Lambertine, Ollie G., and Walter H. He moved to Monett, MO in 1882 and engaged in the real estate business. He was appointed notary public in 1886. In May 1887, he formed a partnership with J. L. Downing and the firm did a successful business. - Obit for son: Cassville Democrat, Saturday, Jan. 3, 1920 - Walter Draper, a Frisco engineer, died on his train, Dec. 24, near Carl Junction, age 46 years. He left a wife and one sister. He was a son of late G. B. Draper, and years ago, the Draper family resided at Exeter. His home was in Monett. - Cassville Republican October 19, 1893 - State v. G. B.
