On December 28, 1945 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, she was united in marriage to Bob Neeley, who preceded her in death on November 23, 2015. Also preceding her in death were her parents; one sister, Margie Fields and brother-in-law Max Fields. Betty grew up and received her education in Cassville, where she graduated from high school. For many years she was a devoted pastor's wife. Some of her favorite pastimes were collecting antiques and traveling. Bob and Betty especially enjoyed their yearly trips with their three daughters. Research Note: He was the son of Horace and Jewette (Reams) Neeley. On December 28, 1945, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, he was united in marriage to Betty Banks. Preceding him in death were his parents and two sisters, Barbara Swearingen and Betty Ann Crain. Bob grew up and received his education in Cassville, he was the Valedictorian of the Class of 1944. During World War II he served in the United States Army Air Corp as a Navigator. For several years he was a mail carrier and clerk for the United States Post Office in Cassville from which he retired. He was a member of Corinth Baptist Church. In 1969 he surrendered to preach, starting as associate pastor of Corinth Baptist Church and became Director of Mission for Barry County. Other churches he served were at Grandview, Emmanuel and Miller, making a full circle back to Corinth. He was an avid golfer and his father owned the first sand course in Barry County. At the age of 79 he made his first hole-in-one on the 11th hole at the Cassville Golf Course. In the 1950's he coached a championship little league team, which he was very proud of the team. Research Note: Daughter of Joe Walter and Maude (McMahan) Northcutt. She was a descendant of Barry County's pioneer families. She attended school in Rogers and in Cassville and Seligman, MO. She graduated from the University of AR School of Medicine in 1937 at the age of 23-- one of only two women in a class of 61. In 1939, Dr. Mary, as she was called by her patients and almost everyone else in the area, moved to Cassville to share a medical practice with Dr. George Newman at the Barry Co. Clinic and Hospital. The following year, Dr. Newman and Dr. Mary Jane Northcutt were married. Dr. George Newman died in 1949 and the hospital closed a year later. Dr. Mary then opened her own offices and served on the staff of the Community Hospital in Cassville and later at St. Vincent's Hospital in Monett. Dr. Mary loved the practice of medicine and especially delivering babies. She delivered hundreds of babies in her 47-year career, including one set of triplets. Mullins on Sept. 17, 1911 in Barry Co., MO. - January 15, 1914, Cassville Republican Mrs. Lee Noe, formerly, Miss Beulah Mullins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Butler Mullins, died Jan. 5th, after an illness of only 6 days, of lagrippe, which terminated into congestion of the brain. Mrs. Noe was born June 22, 1887 and married to Lee Noe, Sept. 17, 1911. To them was born a little daughter. Mr. Noe died Nov. 4, 1912. After his death Mrs. Noe and little daughter made their home with her father. Mrs. Noe leaves her little daughter, father, mother, brothers and sisters to mourn her loss, bedsides many friends. Funeral services were held at her father's home Tuesday morning after which the remains were laid to rest in the Exeter Cemetery to wait the resurrection morn. Mr. Noe was well known in the neighborhood and had many friends who will join in an expression of sympathy for the bereaved relatives. A dear one from us is gone. A voice we loved is still. A vacant place is in our home, which never can be filled. A Friend. - She was the daughter of Jonathan Butler Mullins and Dora Crampton. Note

Lavicia "Vica" Ellen (Lyon) Edens is buried between Joseph Lee Noe and wife, and Mary Jane (Edens) Noe. - Cassville Democrat, July 12, 1945 - Mary Jane Noe died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. John Holmes, in Springfield, July 6 of a sudden and unexpected heart attack. She was 80 years, 4 months and 18 days old. Mrs. Noe was born near Louisville, Ky., on February 17, 1865 and was a daughter of Daniel and Lavicia Edens. She was united in marriage to Charles G. Noe, November 9, 1885, who preceded her in death eight years ago. Four children, Mrs. John Painter and Mrs. Roy Senseney of Exeter, Mrs. Wayne Cole of Exeter and Mrs. John Holmes of Springfield, survive. A son, Lee Noe, preceded her in death. Two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Elam and Mrs. Laura Freeman of Tulsa, with 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, survive together with a host of other relatives and friends. She was converted and joined the Baptist Church at an early age and lived a consistent Christian life. - Mrs. John Holmes of Springfield, MO was the informant on the death certificate. Note
