Who can beat him, for being the oldest resident of Barry County? - Cassville Republican, June 19, 1913 - William Hisaw, one of this county's pioneer citizens, passed away at his home on Capps Creek in the northwestern part of the county, Friday, June 13, at the advanced age of 77 years, from cancer of the stomach. He had lived in this county since the early thirties, having moved when only a year old with his parents who came from Tennessee.
