Inscription: "Wife of John" - Research Note: Her death certificate reads that John Eiklor was her (second) husband, and she was widowed. The cause of death was influenza. She was age 74 years, 1 month and 20 days old when she died. Her father's name was Johnson and her mother was Amanda Hawkins. The birth places of both was unknown to the informant, G. W. Hunsucker, Sarcoxie, MO. She was buried in Jolly Cemetery, Feb. 22, 1925. Augusta first married James Hunsucker or Huntsucker. Research Note: His death certificate reads that his father was Godfrey Eiklor and his mother's name was unknown to the informant (Mother was Permillia "Millie" Strope). He was age 83 years, 5 months and 7 days old when he died. The cause of death was valvular heart disease. Mrs. John Eiklor, Newtonia, MO, was the informant. Burial was in Jolly Cemetery, Jan. 6, 1921. J. B. SSW: Janet K. - Research Note: He was the son of John and Anna (Smith) Eiskina. Ed, as he was known, was married to Janet Wise on July 5, 1959, in Miami, OK. Mrs. Eiskina preceded him in death on May 15, 2002. Retiring from the Kansas City Terminal Railroad System in Kansas City, MO after working there from 1956 until 1997, Ed moved back to the farm where he was born and started farming and growing big tomatoes. Surviving are the following: two daughters; three sons; and ten grandchildren.
