MOTHER NATURE TAKES ANOTHER SWIPE AT
AGED STONES
The February 2007 ice storm that dealt destruction county wide took its toll on the stones in the Corsicana Cemetery. Trees that line the fencerows were split and splintered. Falling limbs broke barbwire and bent posts. Headstones near the fencerows were broken and knocked off the bases.

Ted Roller and Jack Fly have cleared limbs from around the headstones and surveyed the storm damage. As soon as the remaining brush is cleared work will begin to restore the damaged stones.
