The Cassville Branch Library has a Building Fund for a new Library which will include a much improved genealogy and historical room. The site has been picked and purchased for the state-of-the-art million dollar facility that will serve this area for many years to come.

Saved from the wrecking ball on August 23, 2000 the Bayless/Salyer home (built in 1879) will someday become the Barry County Genealogical & Historical Society Museum.
