Research Note: Norman enlisted in the 211th Battalion (American Legion) Canadian Expeditionary Force at Sarcee Camp, Calgary, Oct. 14, 1916. The Battalion went to England in Dec. 1916 and was transferred to the Canadian Railway Troops in March, 1917.
Norman was in Shell Knob, Barry Co. in 1900. In 1910 his parents and siblings are in Oklahoma Co., OK. In Jul., 1919 crosses in to the United States at Detroit on his way to Tulsa, OK. It appears that he was enumerated twice once in Philadelphia, PA and Tulsa, OK with his parents and siblings. He is in Chicagoe, IL for the 1930 and 1940 Census. The records show he made a living as a musician.
