| Details | Ida Houston said, on the back it says, "school grope." That's right..."grope." I believe Lynn Stubblefield is the kid in glasses standing next to the teacher and Eli Hoggett is the kid in the overalls in the first row down on the far left (in front of my mother, Ruth Pauline Boyd), and I think that is Belle Greenway standing behind my mother. I suspect the year is mid 1920s. Nothing else is written on the back. Mom lived in the McDowell/Jenkins area. Her full name was Ruth Pauline Boyd, but she went by Pauline. She was born in Dec. 1918. Her mother was Anna Pauline Dyer who was married to Fred Hoggett. Her grandparents were Sabina Marbut and William Walker Dyer. I know that's more info than you asked for, but it might be useful. |
