Donna Cooper's Research Note: Amos Wormington was a great-grandson of Edward and Elizabeth (Haddock) Wormington. Edward was killed by the bushwhackers and was buried in New Site Cemetery.

Elizabeth never remarried and is buried by his side. Many of his descendants are also buried at New Site.
