Details My father is Gale Lenox (sitting, 3rd from the left) I believe this is his senior photo from 1942. My father grew up in Seligman, MO. and moved away in 1942 when he joined the Civilian Conservation Corps. in Bradleyville, MO. He was a son of John and Rose (Evans) Lenox.
Another note from Denise states that her mother says that Gale was born in 1921, so the year he graduated might have been earlier than 1942, such as 1939.
Donna's Note: He is not in the photo we have of 1939 graduating class, so we will assume he was a graudate of 1938 or 1940 unless we learn otherwise. Another note from Denise explains that her father dropped out of school in his senior year and did not graduate.
Mar. 2014 Geneva Judy Preston Rains of Face Book, Barry County Places and Things Remembered writes for the group photo that isn't name, Louise Gaylen is the first girl on the 2nd row. Marguerite Walden is first girl on back row. 2nd girl on back row is Neva Gemmecke. Mr. R. G. Whiteside is the principle, then first is Clyde Mitchell, next Mike Prichard, and I think next boy is Charlie Perkins. I believe Johnny Gemmecke is on front row 4th boy sitting down. I will try to come up with some others as I compare the copies I have. (Neva and Johnny are aunt and nephew.)

First row standing girls - recognized - Helen Ash is 3rd and Ella Goins is the 7th girl.
