Research Note Charles Kenion "C. K." Tucker was born January 31, 1879 in Eagle Rock, Missouri, the son of Francis (Frank) Tucker and Emaline (Emma, Emily) Thornton Tucker.

In Eagle Rock, Missouri, on October 22, 1899, he married Nora Belle Haddock. She was born December 22, 1882 in Eagle Rock and died April 29, 1960, in Gravette, Benton County, Arkansas. In the years from 1900 to 1929 fourteen children (nine boys and five girls) were born to this union. Eight of their children were born in Missouri and six were born in Arkansas.

C. K. and Nora Belle moved to Maysville, Arkansas around 1912 or 1913. There they farmed and raised livestock and grew apples, peaches, and grapes. Their 14 children all grew up there and many of them raised their own families in the area There are still Tucker descendants living in Benton County, Arkansas and Delaware County, Oklahoma..

C.K. and Nora were both devout Christians and attended the Church of God Holiness in Maysville, Arkansas. C. K. was active in the church and taught Sunday School there for many years.

After their retirement they moved to Gravette, Arkansas where they spent their Golden Years. C. K. still continued to visit his farm and Nora enjoyed gardening and making quilts. The country road between Maysville and Gravette, Arkansas, where their farm was located, now bears the name, “Tucker Road”.
