The Finis Ball Cabin at Eagle Rock - Wean'n House
Research Note The Wean'n house on Highway F near Eagle Rock Missouri was built in 1917 on the Finis Ball Farm. Finis and Dollie (Tucker) Ball lived just over the hill from this house. When their children would get married they would live in the Wean'n House until they could afford a place of their own.

In their older years, Finis and Dollie moved to the Wean'n House. Grandpa Finis lived there until his death in 1956. The house still stands and is a gift shop. The front porch was damaged in a storm but the rest is the original. The old barn still stands in the back.

Grandpa & Grandma spent a lot of time on the front porch during good weather. Grandpa made cedar walking canes and Grandma was usually fixing vegetable or sewing.
