Research Note | Around 1900 or so the livery stable in Cassville was owned by Zeph Roberts. It was located on the northwest corner of the square and was one of the few buildings to escape the fire of 1893.
Standing at the corner of the building is the owner Zeph Roberts. Barry County records indicate that his son, Ed Roberts served as sheriff of Barry County from 1920 to 1924. |
