M: (1) Abt 1687, Margaret Unknown. Anthony's first wife who emigrated with him to Pennsylvania and d. before 17 Nov 1705 on which day, as is shown on the Register of Christ Church, Philadelphia, he married Sarah Watts.

M: (2) 17 Nov 1705, Sarah Eaton Watts, the widow of Rev. John Watts. Sarah d. 27 Jun 1723 and was survived by her husband. Sarah was reported to have been b. 01 Apr 1655.

The first record of Anthony seems to be in the year 1702 when he was Burgess of

Germantown, a position which he filled for three years. In 1709, he purchased the plantation in the "Manor of Moreland," now Moreland township, Montgomery County, PA.
