Donald D. Cutt Obituary

Robbinsdale, Minn. - Donald D. Cutt, 78, died May 2, 2002.

Donald D. Cutt was born November 29, 1923 in Hallock to John and Emma Cutt.

He is survived by his wife, DeLoris cutt; brothers, Virgil W. (Nora) Cutt and Amos L. (Marjorie) Cutt; three neices; one nephew; and 11 Godchildren.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, John and Emma.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 7, 2002 at 12 p.m. at Lake Nokomis Presbyterian Church, Minneapolis.

Interment was held at Sunset Memorial Park, Chapel of Peace, Minnesota.

Pastor Phil boe, Hospice of the Lakes, presided.

Gerald Olson was the organist and Ernest Jackson, the soloist.

Pallbearers were Bob Irish, Mike Malloy, Terri Dobel, Ernest Jackson, Bob Brinkman, and Charles Williams.


Carol Potrament Obituary

Lancaster, Minn. - Carol Potrament, 54, Lancaster died at her home Tuesday, June 11, 2002.

Carol Ann Cutt was born in Hallock, Dec. 20, 1947, the daughter of Virgil and Nora (Peterson) Cutt. She graduated from high school there in 1965.

On Oct. 9, 1865, Carol married Rodney Potrament at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church near Lancaster. The couple lived in Lancaster until 1972 when they settled in St. Joseph Township where she and Rodney farmed.

Carol was the treasurer of the church, a Sunday School teacher and belonged to the Holy Rosary Circle.

Family members include her husband, Rodney; a son, Keith and companion Janelle Frei, Lancaster; a daughter, Debra (Leon "Butch") Kraska, Lancaster; six grandchildren, Britta, Breanna, Marcus, Cody, Kaitlyn, and Cassey; her parents, Virgil and Nora Cutt, Lancaster; a brother, Dwayne (Shey) Cutt, Campbellsville, Ky.; two sisters, Diane Cutt, Kensington, and Cheryl (Pete) Elhers, Rowley, Mass.; her in-laws, Lawrence and Helen Potrament, Lancaster, a niece and nephews.

Funeral services were Monday, June 17, 2002, 10:30 a.m., Holy Rosary Church, rural Lancaster. Interment was in the Holy Rosary Cemetery. Rev. Timothy Noah presided.

Pallbearers were Shane Ehlers, Shelley Elhers, Doug Cutt, David Cutt, Ruth Reddington, and Peggy Nordin.
