St. John's Lutheran Cemetery
Section 4, King Township, Polk County, MN
North of McIntosh, MN on County Rd 8
The Norwegian Evangelical Lutheran St. John's Congregation was organized
late in 1887. A church was constructed in 1900 in the town of McIntosh. In 1922
St. John's merged with St. Luke's Lutheran Church of McIntosh. The two
congregations chose the name Our Savior's Lutheran Church. St. John's
was chosen for the location of Our Savior's Lutheran Church and is still active.
