Burnham Creek Cemetery

Andover Township, Section 8, Polk County, MN

Burnham Creek Cemetery is located west of Crookston about 3 miles along the Burnham Creek in Andover Township.

Thankyou to Ann for the picture taken September 2003 - cemetery listing below picture

In the book Bicentennial History of Polk County, Minnesota by the Polk County Historical Society, 1976  this is written about Andover Township The Hans Hanson family lost three in two months of lung fever and diphtheria.  The same year three children of the McMahan family died of diphtheria, and twin daughters of H.C. Scribner died on the same day of the same cause at the age of three.  Perhaps some of these are unmarked graves in one of the two cemeteries in Andover Township. Thank you to Lynn and Sr. Eileen for helping with this cemetery.

This cemetery was walked and transcribed by Ann in Sept 2003 - Thank you Ann!
