Berry
married November 24, 1885 to Anna Rieder, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs George
Rieder. Anna Rieder was born March 9, 1886 in
Iowa
. She came to the St. Joe neighborhood with her parents at the age of seven.
They lived on the farm that is known as the Tom Delaney farm. Her father, George
Rieder, was captain of the volunteers who organized a militia to put down an
Indian uprising in
Pine

. Ludger

was born at

Michigan
, June 21, 1859. He came to
Rush
Lake
Township
in 1883 as a surveyor. He homesteaded a half-mile west and half mile south of
Richville. He farmed and was a well-known thresher and saw mill operator. It was
said that he could get more lumber out of a tree than any other sawyer could. He
was head sawyer in the stave mill in Richville in the early 1900�s.

born March 16, 1915, married C. W. Simons of Dilworth.
