WALTMAN; Peter WALTMAN-WOLTMA From Ted Holmes' Loyalists to Canada, p. 122: "Waltman/Woltma, Peter. He was from Pennsylvania and served with the Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Volunteers during the Revolutionary War. Peter was one of the 49 original signers of the 1783 Quaker agreement to settle in Canada, signing as Peter Woltma. He was a passenger on the ship Camel which arrived in Beaver Harbour in September, 1783. Peter was named in the Beaver Harbour muster of July 10, 1784, and was a grantee on the town plot at Beaver Harbour, lot #3, nine acres. Later, he settled at Mace's Bay, New Brunswick."
