Brunswick. Land records of Cumberland County where both
Daniel & Enoch received their grants. 1) 10 Feb 1764
Enoch GOODEN conveyed to Benoni DANKS one acre
in the Town Plot for one pound. 2) 17 Sep 1764 a grant of
15,750 acres to the Committee of the Township of Cumberland
listed 35 granters including Enoch GOODING. The grant
cites a former grant was insufficient to secure the
properties. 3) 02 Sep 1772 Enoch GOODEN sold 500
acres (less 1 acre) to Robert & Arthur CAIN of
Hingham, MA for 10 pounds. Enoch listed his residence
at the time as Newbury, MA. Fred
